Jake has been involved in the theatre from a young age and is thrilled to be making his directorial debut with ‘Sweeney Todd’, one of his favourite Sondheim shows. He did his degree and post-grad in theatre studies and has been active in the Norfolk dramatic scene since graduating. Jake is also Secretary for Threshold Theatre Company and is hoping his impeccable organisational skills will make this one of the slickest productions in recent memory.

Dan is excited to be taking on his first-time directorial role! Dan has spent a few years in Norfolk working as a choreographer for Threshold Theatre Company on ‘Legally Blonde’ and most recently ‘Young Frankenstein’. He has also recently performed in Threshold’s ‘A Chorus Line’ (Greg) and NNOS’s ‘Kinky Boots (Angel). Dan has a passion for local theatre, local talent and creation – this new venture into directing is the chance for him to expand and develop as his own artist. Part of the Threshold Committee, Dan is also an international cheerleading judge, dancer and events planner.

Acer, 20, since moving to Norfolk at the age of 5, has been playing music ever since. They have been a category audition finalist for BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2020, and have worked on multiple shows in the local area as either Musical Director or Assistant Musical Director. These shows have included ‘Jerry Springer: the Opera’ (Sound Ideas) as MD, ‘Yippie Ki-Yay’ (Open Door Theatre) as MD and Orchestrator, ‘The Addams Family’ (Seagull Theatre) as MD, ‘A Chorus Line’ (Threshold) as MD, and ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘The Little Mermaid’ (Echo Youth Theatre) as MD.

They are tremendously excited to join Threshold again, and for such a musically rich show!
